MMPC implements a variety of programs aimed at supporting the development and sustainable growth of local communities. These programs focus on small businesses, farmers, and youth, promoting economic independence and fostering community prosperity.
1. Credit Programs for Small Businesses
MMPC operates lending programs for local small businesses, providing them with the opportunity to secure the capital needed to expand their operations. The P3 (Pondo sa Pagbabago at Pag-asenso) and PLEA (Production Loan Easy Access) programs, in particular, offer low-interest financing to help small farmers and entrepreneurs improve and grow their businesses.
2. 4Ps Program Fund Dispensing
MMPC serves as a fund distributor for the government's Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps). This program is designed to support low-income families by providing conditional cash transfers to cover essential needs like health, education, and nutrition. MMPC ensures that these funds are efficiently and transparently distributed to eligible recipients in the community.
3. Youth Education Program
MMPC offers educational programs to empower young people with financial literacy, teaching them the importance of saving and thrift. The program targets both in-school youth and out-of-school youth (OSY), helping them develop sound financial habits and preparing them to become future leaders who contribute to the sustainable development of the community.
4. Organic Farming Program (Coconut and Cacao)
MMPC promotes sustainable agricultural practices through its organic farming program. Focusing on the organic cultivation of coconut and cacao, this program supports local farmers in producing high-quality crops while using environmentally friendly methods. It helps farmers increase their income and contributes to the growth of the local agricultural economy.
